As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

VFW Members, Veterans and Esteemed Community Members,

 

Our Post was honored to host the Memorial Day activities for the City of Fort Pierce. It was a wonderful and meaningful event as we gathered to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the luncheon, entertainment, and fellowship back at the Post. We were grateful to have many local military organizations join us in remembrance. Thank you, American Legion Post 40, Post 117, Post 858 and AMVETS Post 15 for you support of ths Memorial Day's events. 

A special thank you to the dedicated members of our Post, Auxiliary, and the Neptune Spear Division Sea Cadets for their hard work, planning, and support in making this event such a success. Your service and commitment are deeply appreciated.
