VFW Post 8058 and Auxiliary Host School Supply Drive for Local Students!
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8058 and its Auxiliary are excited to announce a FIRST annual community school supply drive this summer! We're dedicated to supporting veterans, their families, and the future of our community – our children.
Why a School Supply Drive?
Many families face the challenge of affording essential school supplies each year. This drive aims to lessen that burden and ensure local students have the tools they need to succeed in the upcoming school year. Here in St. Lucie County, we're supporting students at two of our local K-8 school and high school.
How Can You Help?
We're seeking donations of both financial resourcesand school supplies. Financial contributions will allow us to purchase a wider variety of supplies based on student needs. Here are some examplesof needed supplies:

· Dry Erase Markers

· Loose-Leaf Paper

Making a Donation:
There are several ways you can contribute to the drive:
· Shop Online and Ship: Purchase supplies online and have them shipped directly to VFW Post 8058 ATTN: Jessica – School Supplies at 3475 Douglas St, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Go to MyRegistry.com.
· Drop Off at the Post: We'll be accepting donations of new, unused school supplies at the VFW Post located at during our operating hours of 1200 - 1800.
· Monetary Donation: Financial contributions allow us to purchase specific supplies in high demand. Donate securely online VFW8058.orgor send a check made payable to "VFW Post 8058" to the address above.
Summer Bash Finale:
Join us for a celebratory event marking the end of the school supply drive! We'll be delivering the collected supplies to the schools and enjoying some summer fun with the community. The finale will be held during the second week of August (exact date to be announced).
