James Phillip Greening (Jim) was elected to the office of 3rd Year Trustee at the July 2023 Post meeting. Jim joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fort Pierce, Florida, Westside Post 8058 in September 2021 and is a Life Member. This marks his first Officer position serving with the VFW.

Additionally, Jim is a part of American Legion Post 40, AmVets Post 15, and the Vietnam Veterans of America in Reno, NV, thus continuously demonstrating his commitment to serving veterans beyond the VFW. As a US Marine having served from June 12, 1968, to June 11, 1971, Jim served proudly and became a Vietnam War veteran, with his deployment in Vietnam taking place from September 10, 1969, to September 9, 1970. Following his incredible voluntary service, Jim was honorably discharged.

Jim is a proud father to his two daughters. He resides in Ft. Pierce, FL.
