Jay served in the U.S. Navy from Feb 1972 through Mar 1980 aboard Nuclear Submarines including the USS Stonewall Jackson. He was a Machinist Mate 1^st class and the Engine room Supervisor when discharged in 1980. He has since worked in Nuclear power plants between PSL & New York. Jay transferred back to Post 8058 in 2020. Jay contributes regularly to Salvation Army, DAV, ST Jude's, VFW and American Legion, and does volunteer work for our VFW, and the local American Legions. Jay currently serves as our 2nd year trustee.
