Theresa Johnson

Theresa Johnson, a cherished member of the VFW Post 8058 Auxiliary, passed away on August 30, 2023, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Born in LaPorte, Indiana, Theresa's legacy is one that touches not only her family but also the communities she was part of.

For 35 years, Theresa was a stalwart at Publix, a testament to her commitment and dedication. Her colleagues will undoubtedly miss her warm presence and consistent reliability.

Family was the cornerstone of Theresa’s life. She reveled in the joy of her grandchildren, Lexie, Patrick, Danielle, and Ryan Johnson, often spoiling them and enthusiastically attending their sporting events. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jim, and their sons, Cory and Mike.

A devoted member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, Theresa's faith was a guiding force throughout her life.

In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her sister, Mary Hucksted, and brother, Rich Deuitch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Patricia Deuitch.

Those wishing to pay their respects can attend the visitation on September 12, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
